Glass fiber bows

Traditionally, a kyudo bow is composed of a bamboo and wood laminate core surrounded by wood and bamboo. However, we strongly recommend that beginners start with a glass fiber or carbon fiber bow due to the fact that they are easier to care for and are more durable than a traditional bamboo bow.

Proper length is according to your draw lenght. In order to decide your draw length, extend your left arm and measure from the center of your chest to the tip of the middle finger and refer to the chart.
